Behind the RNG: certification seals and what they mean
Independent laboratories test game builds against mathematical models and technical standards. When a build passes, the lab issues a certificate or seal that operators display. The seal confirms a tested version under defined conditions; it does not guarantee wins, nor does it replace a UKGC licence.
What labs typically check
- Statistical behaviour of the RNG against expected distributions.
- That published paytables and rules match the code under test.
- Version control so a certified build can be identified in production.
